I believe true custom furniture should be functional, distinctive, in harmony with its surroundings, and built to last for generations. To meet these objectives, I begin each project by listening closely to the client’s ideas and viewing the area in which the new piece will be placed. I then use time-honored design fundamentals to create a unique plan. Techniques I’ve mastered over the years guide the construction and finishing of the piece.
Please visit the Portfolio page to view photos of some of my furniture, built-ins, kitchen cabinetry, and commercial work. Clients or interior designers helped plan many of these projects. The photos also show examples of the clear, painted, and antique finishes I use. I also hand paint ornamentation and murals.
I always welcome questions about my work and conversations about woodworking projects.
